In response to the diatribe against abortion and a woman’s right to choose, I would like to point out that the Biblical God of Abraham had no knowledge of family planning and contraception except to coitus interruptus which he/she/it was against. Contraception, abortion, and stem cell research are not mentioned in the Bible.
Yet modern day interpreters of God’s desires know exactly what God wants in today’s society. They attempt to get laws passed to enforce their interpretation of God’s desires.
When will the Fundamentalist realize that if there is an all-powerful, all-knowing, supernatural deity it can and will get whatever it wants whenever it wants it?
